Hey,
Where did all you guys come from? One second I'm enjoying the warmth and comfort of my crib (mommy's belly) all by myself, and the next thing I know, everyone else decided to move in. I must say, I wasn't too happy to see you guys, but since you all seemed so excited to see me, I guess I'll let you stick around.
My name is Seth Alsabyerdiese Hinsey, and you guys moved into my world on Dec. 30 at 3:49 p.m. At the time you moved in I was a whopping 8 lbs.- 15 oz. and 20 3/4 " long. I guess that's kind of big, but who knows.
Anyway, I heard that everyone wants to know the story behind this interesting middle name that I've been blessed with. Well it began in the year 450 B.C. when a baby boy named Alcibiades (Al-sih-bye-uh-deez) was born in Athens, Greece. Alcibiades would eventually grow up to become a general in the Athenian army and a Greek politician. Fast forward several centuries to 1941 on the island of Andros in the Bahamas where a bouncing baby boy was born in the settlement of Love Hill. The boy was dubbed Alonzo Hinsey by his parents.
After growing up, Alonzo, who wasn't given a middle name at birth, decided that he wanted a middle name like most of the people he knew. So after hearing of a story about a general in the Athenian army named Alcibiades, he decided to legally change his name. However, back in those days Alonzo didn't have Google or Yahoo and couldn't find out how to actually spell it so he did what any normal person would do and spelled it as close phonetically to how he thought it sounded Al-sa-by-er-diese (Al-suh-bye-er-deez).
Well turns out that Alonzo Alsabyerdiese Hinsey is the father of my father Simeon Alsabyerdiese Hinsey. So I guess that makes him my grandfather, whatever that means. My daddy says he loves his middle name as there are only three people in the world that currently have it. I have to admit it will have to grow on me. But hey at least it makes for a pretty neat story.
Well the nurse just popped in and said the pediatrician is here. They said something about it being time for a circle or circumference or something like that. Oh wait, I think it was a circumcision. I don't know what that is, but by the looks on mommy and daddy's faces I don't know if I'll like it.
See you guys later - I HOPE.
Seth.
1 SAMUEL 1:20 So in the course of time Hannah conceived and gave birth to
a son. She named him Samuel, saying, "Because I asked the LORD for him."
GENESIS 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own
image; and he named him Seth.

I'm Three
Hey guys,
Can you believe it's already been three years since I entered this world, and you first met me. I turned three on Friday, and I love it. No more baby games for me, I'm a big boy now. I had soo much fun at my party and got lots of presents from lots of great people. It would take too long for me to name all of them, but they know who they are and I just want to say thanks. I loved the bouncy house that mommy and daddy got for me. The only bad part was that it went away today. They didn't tell me that it was only a rental and didn't get to stay in the back yard forever. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find something to do with all the new toys I got.
The best present of all though, is my new kitty. His name is Sisco. He's pretty neat, but he likes to scratch me. Daddy said we can get his scales (mommy says they are claws but I prefer to call them scales), removed in a few weeks so he doesn't tear the house a part. He's already ripped up some of her curtains. Bad Sisco. Jay, my big kitty, is finally getting used to him being around. When we first brought him home, Jay didn't like him at all, but now Sisco runs the show. I think Jay is just happy to have someone that looks like him to play with.
Anyway, I'm interested to see what life as a three year old has in store. I'm pretty independent now so I guess the sky is the limit. There is sooo much out there to learn and not enough time in the day to learn it all, but I can assure you that I'll try to get it all in as soon as I can. That is, however, only if mommy and daddy can keep up with me. I haven't quite mastered the driving thing yet, but I'm well on my way. I only crashed my jeep three times this past week. I think I may have to wait a little longer on that one, but the new bike Bun Bun got me should keep me occupied until then. But even with those training wheels, it's still pretty tough. Anyway, talk to you guys later and hope you enjoy the pictures from my party down below. TTYL.

Suffer the Little Children to Come Unto Me
Mark 10:13- 16 (King James Version) - "13And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them."
Dear God,
I'm sooooo sorry I've been away from the blog for so long. Between daycare and learning how to master the Nintendo Wii, I haven't had much time to update everyone on how life has been as a two year old. I've heard people say that being two is "terrible", but I think it's been the best year of my life. No more poopy diapers. I get to eat chocolate and ice cream a lot more. And no more crib. I can get out of my bed whenever I want. Anyway, Daddy says that now that JBU's basketball season is almost over, he'll help me keep everyone updated on my life in Arkansas more often. So I hope everyone is looking forward to more updates. In Jesus' name I pray. AAAMEN.
